Malone Fashion: Pop Fashion

Seeing as our last blog post was about Art and Fashion, we could not resist but blog about a talented Emirati Artist, Khawla Al Marri. As Khawla splashes a color here and a loud neod shade there, you will never describe a piece of her artwork as dull, since she is all about Pop Art. She derives her inspirations from legendary artists as the likes of Andy Warhol, Vincent Van Gogh and Picasso. Her recent attempt to try out something fresh and new, involved a series of pieces delving into high fashion brands and icons that had their fair share in revolutionising the fashion industry.
